Lightning Club presents "Arya Nagarjuna's Seventh Perfection: Love", with Senior ACI teacher John Brady. Nagarjuna reveals there is more to the 6 perfections of a bodhisattva, as originally taught by Shakyamuni Buddha and Master Shantideva. When we combine love in the bodhisattva activities of ethics, patience, generosity, joyful effort, concentration, and wisdom, we will skyrocket our causes to reach our ultimate potential. The highest definition of a bodhisattva is one who has seen ultimate reality directly and strives to reach ultimate happiness so that they can help others. There are many entry levels to this mindset and they can serve as causes to reach higher and higher levels of bodhisattva capacity. In other words a bodhisattva is kind of like a really excellent yogi business person who knows how to destroy obstacles. Arya Nagarjuna highlights some helpful actions that can amplify our activities that keep others' in mind (seeds for having the mind of an enlightened being).
